- Coordinates participation in the fall orientation day, fall open house, and the spring curriculum fair
- Secures the yearbook page(s) by contacting the yearbook sponsor in the fall, getting prices, and securing the space, submitting a check in late October or November and the final yearbook pages by January 20th
- Attend school booster meetings to stay connected with athletics at your school
- Provides gift and awards banquet invitations to the club sponsor at the end of the year

- represents new parent interests at the Board meetings

- organizes community service events that will provide an opportunity for the rowers to give volunteer hours toward a community project or program, coordinated with the coaches to avoid conflict with team practice and regatta events

- develops a plan to maximize team media coverage, including but not limited to providing advance and follow up press releases for each event, and providing invitations to the press for special events

- coordinates Senior, four-year rower, captain, and other special photographs with team photographer for yearbook inclusion
- collects and incorporates rower’s yearbook ads within the yearbook
- makes recommendations to the Board regarding any changes to existing yearbook format
- encourages, explains, and coordinates ad sales submitted for publication in the Capital City Rowing yearbook
- provides a brief ad sales presentation at the Capital City Rowing orientation
- encourages ad sales through newsletter updates, telephone calls, or other communication reminders up to ad sales deadline
